In The Mason Gambit, Captain Mason has to return to his family after five years in the Afghan desert due to devastating news. There are two problems: first, he has been absent for three years and is thought to be dead; second, the city has been infected with an odd virus that might wipe out the entire populace. To find out what’s going on, he will have to collaborate with an enigmatic, clandestine multinational organization for the time being. Captain Mason has never been more unprepared for what he’s going to experience in this game than he was on the battlefield.
