The primary character of Contact, Mike, spends the summers with his grandma. He assists her in running her little local business in the summer. Sadly, as she’s beginning to age there, things aren’t the same in her place as they always were. Mike makes the decision to act independently and put in a lot of effort to better her life. He accomplishes this by establishing ties with her former acquaintances and other individuals from his grandmother’s past.
